To My Friends in Montgomery,
You all cannot afford to miss Montgomery Ballet's upcoming performance of Romeo and Juliet, April 8 & 9 at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center downtown! This performance concludes their 2010-2011 season.
It should be one of the Company's best so far! Choreographed by Elie Lazar, the Artistic Director of the Ballet and a personal friend of mine, it promises to be wildly stimulating, even challenging in a beautiful way. Take my word for it (if you don't already know, which you should) that Elie Lazar is worth supporting; in addition to a reputable past New York City (founding his own company and directing the renowned Joffrey Ensemble Dancers), he has already added immensely to our city through the Montgomery Ballet in the way that he has raised the the Company's professionalism to an even greater height, expanded its performance season, and is reinforcing its sustainability as a permanent resource for excellent art in the city.
In additon, the dancers involved have an unquestionable history of truly "delivering," if you're looking for an evening to remember!
PLEASE, don't miss this opportunity! Consider that I won't be able to drive down from Michigan to attend this, and enjoy the event in my stead.
The Performing Arts Center at the Renaissance Hotel downtown is a beautiful venue and the entertainment will be top notch. Why not throw in dinner downtown before or after and make it a complete "night on the town?"
Your friend,
Daniel Teal
